Some believe that love is a mistake , but still they tend to
make that mistake over and over again . A simple affable touch , though
momentarily , can easily break  your
resolution to stay away from love . You can try to run from love but it is way faster than you , you always get caught .

Nirbhay’s friend were pleased to get their old friend back ,
who had now regained his potency to laugh at even the most dull of the jokes .
He apologised to all his friends for being such an ill-hearted companion
throughout his heartbreak days and thanked them for staying with him all the
time . Nishant knew that whatever has happened , would be a great learning
lesson for Nirbhay and this experience would help him in tackling such
situations with a better decree . Though he didn’t know that love could make even
 best of the warriors fall and he could
 be one of them .

This was the first class of new session . New session always
marks a new beginning when there is a huge exhilaration in air of meeting new
people, hoping that some good teacher  will
be a part of your class ,  looking interestingly
at newly bought books albeit last one diminishes after a day or so .

Class Teacher was getting ready to start the first roll call
of the year , Students though were adamant to listen . Nirbhay was busy talking
to Nishant that how he realised his error . Suddnly he heard a voice from the
door of the room with a cliché school statement – “ May I come in mam “

It was a voice that brightened  the face of nirbhay instatntly . The Girl ,
after getting a nod from the teacher , got inside and took the seat next to another
girl .

Nirbhay checked her every movement – the way she dropped her
bag from her shoulder , the way she arranged herself on the seat , the way she
took out her notebook and pen . Everything  seemed so elegant to him that he forgot that
roll call had started .

Alphabetical calls were going on , while he was busy looking
at her spectacled  yet soothing eyes ,Semi – pointed immaculate nose ,  Lips that
even without any application of beauty product looked immensely gleaming . He
knew right away that those lips would look great when they smile .

“Nirbhay...Nirbhay...I am marking you absent today” –
Teacher said with an agitation .

When notified by Nishant , He realised he has missed his
roll call and instantly stood up and said – “ Present ma’m .... I am
sorry...really sorry “.

Teacher nodded with an irritated look . Students started laughing.
Nirbhay was embarrassed but he felt happy when he saw her smiling . Her lips
were indeed gem when partnered with a soft smile .

Later , he found out her name was Shipra .

It was the half time , Nirbhay and his friends were having their
lunch in group together . Nishant noticed that Nirbhay was looking intermittently
at the new girl .

Nishant said with a disguised smile – “ Why don’t you call
her to join us . She is eating alone “ .

Nirbhay smiled on hearing the advise of his friend and
approached her – “ Hey , why are you sitting alone . Come , Join us . “

Shipra agreed and joined the group where initially everyone
introduced themselves to their new companion and then they begin with their
light talks . While they were having their food , Nishant asked Shipra – “ Hey
, have you seen the school canteen , it’s marvellous “ .

“ No , not yet “ – Shipra replied .

“You should go their “. He stopped but continued directly - “
Wait . Nirbhay’ll take you their , won’t you Nirbhay “ –Nishant asked pointing
towards Nirbhay .

“ Ya , sure “ – Nirbhay smiled and looked at Shipra .

“ Ok ” – shipra said and they moved from the class .

Nirbhay looked at Nishant and moved his lips indicating-“Thank
you” .

Nishant gesticulated-“Welcome”.

Rest of the group was still enjoying their meal , when a
girl Rashi came to them and said “ Hey Nishant , Can I join you “ .

“ No one has asked you I guess . So , I am sorry you can’t
join us “ – He said in a rough manner .

“ Okay “ – She said and took seat in a corner .

“ Why do you behave like this with her . She was just asking
politely . Why didn’t you let her join “ – Ajay said with an enquiring
expression .

“ Don’t  teach me dude“ – Nishant retorted .

” For once , you are wrong Nishant . She is always good to
you and you behave nastily with her“ – Vikas said softly .

Nishant , disgusted now , Said veheme-ntly “ I mean . Why
don’t she understand that I don’t wanna talk to her . But every time she tries
to come near me again and again and again  “ . He blurted with a force so that she could
hear what he meant  .

Rashi , who listened Nishant’s every single word , stood up and
left the class . Nishant saw her leaving and made a disgusted look.

But his eyes suddenly caught something when he looked back
at her seat . He started moving there where Rashi was sitting .  

When he got near , he noticed some droplets on her desk . He
touched those droplets slightly with his finger . He couldn’t think anything else
at that time .

All he could think was that these droplets were definitely not water .

Nirbhay was happy that he had shipra next to him but he was
little apprehensive too , because he didn’t know whether he had ample money in
his pocket .

“ What would you like to have ? “ – Nirbhay asked .

“ Anything will be fine “ – Shipra replied .

Nirbhay ordered without checking his pockets . His
apprehensions were removed when while receiving the order , the manager winked
and said – “ Pay later boy , don’t worry “ .

They moved to a table nearby and while they were munching on
their order , Nirbhay asked “ Did you like the school “

“Yeah , It’s cool “ .

“Did you make any friends here”- Nirbhay questioned .

“ You , I Guess”- Shipra smiled .

“ Yeah”- Nirbhay smiled back . 

Then there was a long pause .They didn’t know what to talk .
So , both of them were either eating or just looking in arbitrary directions .

Finally when over ,  they rose up and started moving to class when Shipra
said-“ I am sorry if I bored you “ .

“If this was boring , I would love to get bored everyday “ –
Nirbhay said in a heroic manner while looking straight into her eyes .

“ Ohkay” - Shipra replied but then shied away . 

“Ummm...Would you like to join us tomorrow at lunch” –
Nirbhay asked confidently .

“Just Tomorrow” – she questioned with a made-up enquiring
expression on her face .

“Every Tomorrow I mean”- Nirbhay answered back . 

Shipra started laughing . This was the first time when  Nirbhay saw her laughing and he knew he was
desperate to see her this way again .

Later that night , sleep was miles  away from Nirbhay’s eyes . He kept on
recalling the events that had happened during the day . Things had changed
drastically and had changed for good . He hoped they don’t go bad from here now
, he won’t let them go bad . He would make every effort for it .

But he knew there was some unfinished business yet , He had
to apologise to Rishika . But currently his business was to sleep in which he
was failing badly .

Though Nirbhay was not the only one who couldn’t sleep that
night . Nishant was sleepless too , constantly thinking – “ Was he really
wrong? “.

Time flies away when you are in love , but when love hurts –  even a second becomes a year , even the most
beautiful of life seems miserable due to agonizing truth of love . Nirbhay’s
life too become dreaded after his heart was broken  . The boy who earlier talked without any
reason had a firm silence on his lips most of the time . Going out with friends
was now just a ceremonial process that he had to do for the sake of his
friendship . He was living an empty life whose void he could see everyday in
front of his eyes . A void which was as beautiful as one could be , whose laugh
still sound like music to his ears , whose glimpse still had a curing affect on his eyes , whose love he once
believed he would feel some day in his life.

His friends tried a lot to get him back to his normal and they
succeeded  a little by making him realise
the importance of final exams and despite not having his full concentration , he
still managed to get an average score which looked fine considering his
previous performances .
On the day when result was announced , Nishant planned to go
for a movie after collecting the result . He knew that upcoming break of one
week would make nirbhay stay in dormant state as he had refused to go for their
proposed trip . So he thought that going out , having a little fun with friends might change his decision .
They reached theatre at 5 .30 , 6.00 pm was the show of the
movie as communicated by Vikas . After parking the car , they went to Vikas . A
usual play of taunts was followed by a little spell of mutual hugging .
“ Watching an action movie in 3D would be a great
experience, isn’t it ? “ – Nishant said with a great enthusiasm .

Everyone nodded except vikas . 

“A..actually , all the tickets were sold out . So i bought
another movie . I hope I did right “ – Vikas replied with a small apprehension.
“oh...kay “ – Nishant felt a despair but continued - “ which
movie have you got then “ .
“ Love Forever – it
is said to be one of the most romantic movie of the decade “ – Vikas felt extremely
happy about his decision .
Nishant said with a disgust “ You did great , you always do “
He gave a small hit on vikas’ head and then they all left
for the movie .

Watching a romantic movie when you are heartbroken is
similar to having  sugar in diabetes . It
kills you slowly from within and you know it .

Nirbhay was completely expressionless during the movie but Nishant
knew if he could hear nirbhay’s inner thoughts , he would only hear sobbing . But
he was happy that at least he held himself composed during  all this time which was earlier difficult for
him . Maybe he was now getting away from the thoughts of Rishika . Maybe he was
overcoming  the intense pressure of dejection
and that was certainly good for his imminent life .

Nishant was advising vikas to use his mind sometimes and don’t
make stupid decisions often as he did today in his selection of movie . All of
a sudden , he heard some loud noises emerging at a distance  . When he peeked through the crowd , it was
ajay and nirbhay having a loud arguments with some other boy .
Reaching near revealed that it was the boyfriend of Rishika
and maybe that was the reason that usually calm nirbhay was having a broil with
him .

“ You came in my way .......... Are you some kind of VIP ...........I’ll
break your jaw ........I am very angry right now “ – A rail of abuses hurled
from nirbhay’s mouth .

Ravi , all this while was standing calm . After nirbhay
stopped , he smiled and politely said “ sorry “ .
Nirbhay expected harsh words in return but getting a polite
reply made him irked more . He went berserk and suddenly hit him hard with his
fist  .
Ravi smiled again and said “ Looser “ . 
Before Ravi went to hit another , He was suddenly stopped by
rishika whonow standing together with ravi .
She said with teary eyes “ Leave it Nirbhay , please “ .
Nirbhay , Embarrassed left the place in a hurry .
Later that night , the crying face of Rishika came repeatedly
into his eyes . He knew he had done wrong .

Nirbhay spent most of his week aloof  , thinking just of Rishika . He kept
memorizing all the incidents , times and instances that made Rishika a special
entity in his life .
He remembered -
The time when accidently Rishika’s hand touched his hand when passing by , which he called ‘ first
touch of love ‘ . He knew those hands could never be in his hands now , no
matter how hard he try .
The  time when his
friends started shouting his name on seeing rishika passing and he kept shying
constantly . He knew those lovely moments are well behind him now  .
The desperation to see the glimpse of his love everyday in
the morning . He knew those mornings would never arrive again .
Listening to romantic songs whole day , just thinking about
her , imagining her . He knew those songs don’t mean anything now .
Looking into her eyes from a distance , the eyes that held
the beauty of world in them . He knew he had seen tears into those eyes because
of him .
The thoughts made him realise his mistake . The thoughts
made him realise that she had gone from his life now . The dream of holding her
hand will remain just a dream . It was a time to move on .And It was the time to
apologise to rishika for making her cry , it was the time to apologise to his
friends for leaving them behind , it was the time to apologise to himself for
betraying his life .

It was the first day of school . Nirbhay was texting his
friends to ask them where they are .
Suddenly someone struck him and his phone fell from him
hands . He took his phone from the ground and was about to blurt some angry
words when he saw a girl was standing in front of him .
He never saw her before in the school . She had a cute face
which was looking a bit tensed now . Her long hair were flowing due to heavy
breeze . She wore specs that gave her a studious look .
Before he could say something  , she said in a panicking voice “ i am very
sorry . Actually i am new here and I am searching for class 221 . I am very
sorry . Can you tell me where is it ? “
Nirbhay made a gesture with his hands indicating calm downand
said  “ Its ok , its ok . 221 means
Building no. 2 , second floor , first room . Simple “
She replied with a smile “ thanks and I am really very sorry
“ . With that , she left swiftly from the place.
Her flowing hair touched his face . 
Hair , though said to be the dead part of the body can
sometimes produce a strange intoxicating effect . Nirbhay felt exactly that
effect now .
He saw her leaving , disappearing but the smile that came on
his face due to her presence didn’t disappear , the smile that he missed for
months .

A Very Common Love Story

It was the day of 14th February , the day we know as the Valentine’s day , the day that is revered as the day of love .
It was indeed a very special day in St. Xaviers school where some roses , chocolates and especially hearts were getting exchanged among the opposite sexes . There was a strange commotion in the school playground as the second half of the recess was being celebrated in a different manner today . This happened to be the time when students , finished off with their lunch , enjoy the little freedom they get in the school time . And this freedom was a level more exceptional today .
At one end of the ground , there was a group of boys standing , one of which was looking immensely Nervous , yet extremely excited . Nirbhay waited for this day from past few months , when he would reveal his heart to the girl he loved since he caught her glimpse for the first time , the girl who according to him was the glorious mixture of intelligence and elegant beauty , the girl Rishita who was standing at some distance opposite to them .
Nirbhay was busy looking at her when nishant commanded him - “ Today you have to do it . there is no way you’re missing it today “
Ajay cut him short - “ He is nirbhay , the fearless . He won’t back off today . Go , boy Go . “
Nishant ridiculed him - “ Is he fearless ? No way . He thought of proposing to her last valentine’s day but couldn’t . Then there was a spell of selected days – holi , diwali , new year and even raksha bandhan . but he didn’t even manage to move a single step towards her . “
Vikas came from behind having a sandwich in his mouth - “ What ? He chose raksha Bandhan for his love proposal . On valentine’s day today , I am sure you are gonna get a rakhi “
Nishant retorted back - “ you shouldn’t even utter a word . You were supposed to propose riya today . what about that ? “
Vikas , still his mouth choked with sandwich - “ She is absent today . I proposed to nisha instead . she is also cute . No ? “
Ajay said in an offensive way -“ How can you propose to nisha . You know she is my crush . By the way , what was her reply ? “
Vikas said with his inclusive concentration on unwrapping the chocolate - “ She refused . Currently , I am celebrating her refusal . Sandwich was her ‘ angry stare ‘ and this chocolate is her ‘ blatant NO ‘ . ” . He stopped , took a bite , and said with an amusing smile - “ Oh , I just love her ‘ NO’ and her stare was no bad either . “
Ajay with exhilarating voice - “ I knew it . she is just mine . She will not accept anyone but me . You ‘ll see whenever I’ll propose her . “
Vikas now savoring the chocolate off the wrapper - “ No , She already has a boy friend . Vinit of class 11 C . “
Ajay now said with a non-caring expression - “ That’s OK . Even i don’t like her that much . “ . He though a bit and said “ What do you think about saumya . She has a killing smile . Saumya , I am so in love with her now . Now , don’t dare to look at her . “
Nirbhay , who was listening to all this was getting more and more tensed . He shouted with his heavy voice - “ Will you please shut up . Your silly talks are not helping me at all . “
Everyone suddenly became composed and looked at him . After a short spell of silence , Nishant said in a serious demeanour - “ Only five minutes are left before this break ends . Now you should move forward and just say your heart in front of her and please do this without any hesitation . I don’t want you to prolong this thing now . Our presence might make you more nervous , so we are leaving for the class . We’ll see you there . “
After this short conversation , Nishant gestured ajay and vikas to depart . They wished him luck and went towards the class . Vikas , by this time , was having a soft drink which he addressed as the ‘ slap of nisha ‘ .

At the same time , some discussion was going on in the group of rishita . though she didn’t have a vibrant group as nirbhay , she had a wonderful companion and her biggest support radhika .
Rishita was totally aware of the fact that nirbhay liked her but was unable to express his feelings . Its always easy for a girl to know what a boy hides in his heart .
Though she was not in an intense love similar to nirbhay’s love for her , but she liked him . She found him cute and sweet . She’d have accepted his love even if he’d proposed her a year ago . But , it was nirbhay’s discourage that came between them . She still liked him , though not as much as she liked him before .
But today , she believed that the time has come when the word ‘ Yes ‘ would come out of her mouth . And she was highly sure of it when she saw nirbhay coming towards her .

Lecture was half way through , when nirbhay entered in the class , apologised to the teacher and took his seat . His friends looked at him but couldn’t conclude anything from his face .
They couldn’t even talk to him even when the lectures changed as there was a provision that a teacher can not leave the class before the subsequent lecture’s teacher has arrived .
So , it was impossible for them to hold themselves when the last lecture ended . They all suddenly went to him and asked him what happened , whether she said yes or declined .
“ I didn’t propose to her . I think I need more time “ - he said with a desperation smothered in his body language .
“ Are you stupid ? how long will you take for this ? ”-Nishant said with an extreme disgust .
“ I just don’t know . I have a fear of her denial . What would she feel , what would she say ? “ - His voice was murky .
“ Then you can just eat something like me . It helps a lot .“- ajay said with a real enthusiasm .
Everyone stared at him and ajay interpreted it as a gaze of keeping his mouth shut .
By this time , they were all out in the college premises . Distress on their face suddenly turned into an amazement when they saw rishika at some distance with a rose in her hand .
She was looking at nirbhay and had a very unpromising expression on her face . Suddenly a boy came to her , kept his hand on her shoulder and said something with a very strange familiarity . Nirbhay didn’t like this visual . It sent a shock in his heart and mind .
She nodded with a smile after their conversation ended and then he left signalling that he is waiting for her outside .
She looked at nirbhay , tilted her head slightly and made a suggesting expression that said it all . She then left the place too , leaving the hopes of nirbhay crashed swiftly .
He was taken aback by the sudden impact when radhika , the friend of rishika , came to him and gave him a letter .
He opened it :-
“  I know you like me and i always did the same . But you have kept me waiting for a long time and I guess it would have been longer , maybe till eternity . Right ?


Someone else offered me his love today and I accepted . He is a nice guy , maybe not as good as you but still he had the courage to at least show his love in front of the world .


I am sorry because i know you are hurt . But I think you can understand where it has gone wrong .

It was hard for nirbhay to believe what just happened to him . This was the last thing he had wanted . He tore the letter into pieces but he knew that his heart was torn into pieces currently and this was entirely his mistake and nothing else .
There was a long silence after this which was broken by the nishant’s voice when he said “ I think you should forget what happened today . I know its hard but that’s how the life is . Do not contemplate anything over this and please stay cheerful “ – he emphasized exceedingly on the last line because he always sensed how much he loved rishika and it would be very hard for him to take her out of his mind .
“ I just need to be alone this time . I will take care . Don’t worry “ – Nirbhay said this and left for his home . His despaired amble and wet eyes reflected his gloomy frame of mind .
He was all alone on the street when the thought crossed his mind-“ How can I live my life when my life is with someone else now . “

BANDH

With inflation peaking new highs everyday , fuel prices burning the pocket of ‘Aam aadmi’ , Food items eating the consumer itself , 5th july woke up with an entitled ‘bandh’ by the Opposition which supposedly incorporated complete NDA and left parties . Entire day was crammed with the commotion , courtesy - the faithful  party workers . Lots of buses were burnt , people were harassed ,a big loss of 10,000 crore was hurled on the Indian economy . But at the end , it was proposed as a successful ‘bandh’ by the participating parties .

Bandh , undeniably caused a major havoc in every major part of the nation , Tv channels covered it minutely, everyone is aware of every occurrence but still there were some facts that remain unnoticed .
Some facts , some incidents , that indeed exist and burn the heart of our land gradually but horrendously . What are they ??
Let us concentrate on some of them :-

1) Small kids , unknown to the ugly panorama on the streets , playing football and cricket . They are more than happy to sit home , rather than aching their back with heavy bags and suffering the mental trauma to read when muhammed gauri attacked india or how the acid neutralize the base . They seemed to me like the real ‘junta’ - unaware of everything , expecting an uncomplicated life but the future surrounds them with the same kind of dark truth that prevails everywhere and continually prohibits the growing status of India . Will they be able to fight ??

2) A person which possibly looks sleeping , latent , resting but has actually suffered a major heart attack . His family awaits the clearance of the traffic that forbids the movement of even the tormenting ambulance , despite assuring no halt to medical amenities during the bandh . This person looked  like our own homeland to me – suffering , in pain , crying but getting no help . It wants to budge ahead but there are some demons preventing it to do so . They know if it marches forward , it will get cured . And once alleviated , It will sprint in the coupé of growth so fast that they will not be able to keep pace with it and they will cripple behind.


3) Politicians – protesting , making loud noises , mudslinging the central party , instructing their party workers and finally getting arrested for 2 hours . At evening , all of them sit in an A.C. room with a dark strong soothing coffee in their hand and watch news channels on the latest technology screens .All their party workers too , are back in their home with the little money they earned from their loyalty towards their masters . They are more than happy with their efforts as the intensity of their strike was directly proportional to the trauma of ' aam junta ' .
It was hard to even look at them but when I tried with all my strength to identify what they are , They looked just like…POLITICIAN , Nothing else.

The Wedding

It was the wedding of ravi and sangeeta , there was an excitement flowing through the air . Loud music , kids dancing , relatives greeting each other , everything was going on at the same time .

Raj , the cousin of ravi , was chatting with his friends , discussing when will they be tying the knot and how will they rock each other’s marriage . Suddenly something touched his hand . The touch had a different feel , something ecstatic , a soft sensation . He turned to see what it was . He could see a girl flowing through the crowd , wearing a cut sleeves saree . Her skin was lustrous , it was as smooth as lotus petals .

When he thought that this radiant skin touched his body , a quiver ran through his body .

She suddenly turned her face  towards him , he locked his eyes onto her . He kept staring at her , without blinking his eyes . He didn’t want to miss anything , not even a single glimpse of her tenderness .

She was the most beautiful piece of nature . The way she blinked her eyes , innocence itself would have shied away . She didn’t have any hint of make-up but still looked like a goddess . 

A voice came from behind calling raj’s name . He was getting impatient but had to leave to complete his service being the groom’s brother .

He hastily concluded his work and started looking for the girl  , the human goddess .

He bumped into guests during his rummage for the unknown beauty but was finally relieved to find her seated at one corner . He could see her having a hard time controlling her hair falling over her angelic face . He smiled at her elegant charm .

He decided to approach and have a talk with her . He drilled hurriedly through the crowd to reach the place where she was sitting just to find an empty seat but with a strange soothing scent of her body .

Vinay , the younger brother of ravi , came from behind and  patted on his back .

Raj asked him –“ did you see the girl who was sitting right here “

“who? I have seen so many of them today “-vinay said jokingly .

“No , she was right here . Never seen such a girl before , seriously “-Raj said while his eyes still searching through the crowd .

“ Oh , how can I miss her . I would have helped you but i am little busy today “-vinay replied .

“Leave it , i can see her now “-Raj said and ran swiftly from there .

She was standing at a counter and sipping a soft drink . Her voluptuous lips touching the brim of glass were having a magical effect on raj’s mind .He couldn’t wait to kiss them and was already imagining the same .

This time he sprinted towards her so that he can certainly catch a word with her this time .

He neared her but rather than talking to her , he just ordered a soft drink for himself . He couldn’t figure out how to start a conversation but standing next to her made him feel warm .

Unexpectedly she said –“ hi! “

“hi ! You are from boy’s side or girl’s “-he felt embarrassed in his mind to ask such a silly question .

“I am ravi’s college friend and you must be raj . He told me about you “-She said in a very elegant manner

“Oh . He did . By the way , i am noticing you for quite a while now . You seem to be alone here , wish i could give you some company “-He said and felt good with his conversational lines this time

She blinked her eyes in a childish manner and tilted her head a little –“ Yes , I am alone and really in need of some companionship . But its very swarm in here . Will you come on the terrace for a while so that we can be alone “

“My pleasure “-He replied

She took his drink from his hand , consumed it to half , and returned the remaining .

They looked into each other’s eyes , smiled and then she turned and left the place .

He traversed his fingers through his hairs and continued drinking  .

Five minutes lapsed , he walked towards the staircase leading to the terrace but was cut half way by vinay .

“Hey , where are you going  brother“-vinay asked him .

“I told you about a girl remember . She has called me on the terrace and i am going there “- He winked and changed his direction .

“ play safe , play hard “-vinay said in humorous approach

“ I will “- raj responded

She was standing with her face in the opposite direction and hands on her waist . Her hairs were flowing like an unrestrained river .

She turned towards him , light from moon falling on her face made her more adorable .

“ You look exquisite , you look beautiful “-Raj said with a whispery voice

She smiled “Thanks for coming”

Even her voice was miraculous .

He couldn’t control himself and said “ I love you “

She was startled and laughed like a baby “ Are you joking . We have not even met properly “

“No , from the moment you touched my hand , I am having this feeling persistently and I am serious about it “- He was closer to her now

“ I am sure I touched so many people in the wedding , Its so filled over there . That’s why I called you here”-she said with a teasing smile on her face

“You might have touched many , but you touched my heart , my soul , my everything “-They were very close now

She had a lovely impression on her face , a reflection of love in her eyes . Little drop of tears were on the verge of falling from her eyes

Raj moved his lips closer to her , The difference between them was diminishing slowly , but he suddenly stopped

Tears had started to drop from her eyes ,  Her tears revealed a painful emotion . They were red in colour .

Her lips went black .

He jolted himself back from her and said “ who are you “

“What happened . Don’t you love me “-She had a husky voice now . Raj felt a sting in his ears .

“Back off , I am saying “-He shouted with all his ability

She started shredding her hair . Her body was stirring in a very awkward conduct . A smell of spoilt corpse was filled in the air .

He tried to run but she jumped furiously onto him . She penetrated his chest with her pointing nails . blood flushed out heavily from his body . He belched agonizingly but his cry was completely unheard .

She then forced her burning lips onto his lips and then raj’s body went calm , motionless . She then amputated his head with her hands .

Next day police found a headless body on the terrace.

“hey , a girl asked me to come at the back side of the park. Oh man , she is lovely, Its my lucky day i guess “-naman said to his friends .

अग्नि भी ना रोक पाए , पानी देखे सुख जाए  !
आंधियां सब कम्प्कम्पायें  , रोके कोई ना रोक पाए !!
छाती पर गोली सहेंगे , छुपने  वाले हम नहीं है !

10.00 AM

Door bell rang .

A man opened the door and asked -  “ How can I help you “

The man , who had rung the bell , replied - “Hi ! I saw your pamphlet . I wonder if it is real .By the way ,  I am Eric  “

Other man replied with a smile - “ Only if you believe in it “. He smiled and said “ Come in Eric “

“ My name is Dino . To perform what I am supposed to perform , you have to first provide me with some good explanation  for it “

“ But how would you do it “ – Eric said shrugging his shoulders .

“ Do not worry about it . It is all real . Just tell me the reason “

“ OK . My girlfriend Emily , she died last year in a car accident in front of me . She is dead now and I am not more than a dead soul too . I just want to see her again at any cost “- His eyes were on the verge of getting  wet .

“ You can and you will meet her . I will let you break the time barrier , but you will not know that you have traveled the time . This whole arrangement  will come into your mind only five minutes before your return “

Eric just nodded patiently without any word coming out of his mouth .

“ now hold my hand , concentrate and stay focused “ . Dino started saying some sacred enchants .

“ Are you ready “ – Dino said . There was a glow on his face reflecting an luminosity that was illuminating the whole house .

“ Yes “- Eric said with a straight voice .

“   Okay , We are leaving in 3…2...1 “

At a café-

Eric-“ you look good in white and all its derivatives “

Emily-“ Thank you but I am not wearing white “

Eric-“ Your gentle persona and soulful eyes is painting everything white here . I can see my peace in your bright eyes “

Emily-“ Are you mad “

Eric-“ No , I am just profoundly and intensely in love with you “

Emily stood up and said-“ So Mr. lover , I have some work today and hence , I should better leave now “

“…..And you just call me when you figure out the way to say it “-she winked and grinned .

Eric-“ Ohh , you know it “ . He waited and continued-“ I am trying to find the best way to say it . It should be distinctive and unique “

“ Keep trying , I trust your mind “-she turned to leave .

He saw her leaving while he held the gold  ring , he bought to propose her for the marriage , in his hand .

He kept looking at her as He wanted to see her till the end . Every glimpse of her was exquisite  for him .

He closed his eyes and when he opened them , he saw the crowd gathering at the street. He knew what had happened .

10.00 AM

Door bell rang .

Dino opened the door and asked straightaway- “ What happened . Tell me everything “

Eric, with tears in his eyes-“I saw her . She was sitting in front of me smiling , laughing , talking . I couldn’t do anything , I lost her “

Dino-“  I am sorry . I wish we could do something “

Suddenly eric  felt something in his fist . There was something in his hand . It was the ring he bought for her .

Eric looked amazingly at dino-“ It is the ring that i dropped there accidentlly when this incident took place last year . This time I didn’t leave it , so it came here with me “

Dino thought  a bit and said enthusiastically-“ This indicates that you  can change the phase of time . Things can be changed in future if they are altered in the past . Therefore , if you can somehow…”

Eric cut him off in the middle-“ I can save her . She can be saved and she can be here with me now . I need to go there again “

Dino knew what he had to do.

They started the process rapidly .

.........She was now crossing the road . A car was approaching her . Emily didn’t know what was coming for her . Unfortunately , These were  her last moments .

Suddenly something hit her forcefully and she fell on the street .

Her eyes opened . She could see blood in front of her . It was the blood of Eric .

Door bell rang .

A man came out and asked “ how can I help you “

“ Hi ! I saw your pamphlet . I wonder if it is real .By the way ,  I am Emily  “

The man at the door  smiled and said “ Come in Emily “

Horoscope

It was 7 am in the morning . Abhay woke up and checked his mobile phone . There was a horoscope alert on it . It was throwing out light more than usual .

He read the prediction word by word –

“ You will taste prize , pleasure , power , party and pain all in same day “

“ Oh , that’s a weird horoscope , five things altogether “ – he said to himself .

But suddenly his mind focused on first word out of five – “prize” . He remembered   that he had bought an e-lottery the day before . He sprinted to his laptop , logged on to the site and started matching his e-ticket .

“ 5……..4……….8……….9 “

“w..i..n..n..n..e..r . I won 5 lakh prize “ – He shouted with exhilaration in his voice .

At that time , He could even hear the song in the backdrop “ We..….are…..the…..championsssss “

“ oh man…..oh man , horoscope is really true “-he sounded as if he was out of breath .

He checked the message again on his mobile -“ prize , pleasure , power , party  and pain . First four are good but what about pain . ”

“I hope its not that bad . But who cares if other three are as fascinating as the first one “-He thought with a grin on his face .

He dressed up in his formals for the office , took his breakfast and decides to take public transport instead of driving on his own so as to potentially reduce the untoward chances of an accident .

Nothing happened till afternoon .

“Maybe it was just a coincidence ,  A rare coincidence “ He thought while on his way to office canteen during lunch break .

He was having his coffee when rakshita , the girl on whom possibly every company worker had an eye , arrived at his table and said “ Can I join you ? “ . She had a flowery smile on her shining lips .

Abhay- “ Ya, sure . Its my pleasure to have you at my seat “ . Suddenly his mind crunched to hear  “ pleasure ” from his mouth but then he focused on the lady next to him .

She said “ Abhay , it has been 2 years since we walked in this office but we have never conversed more than hi’s or hello’s “

She hesitated a bit but continued “ Maybe you will find this unbearable but I will put it straightaway . Abhay , I like you a lot . Every time I see you , a strange sensation runs into my body and now its very difficult for me to repress my  feelings “

“  so , I think  it is  the time that  I reveal myself to you “ she said it while touching his hand.

He was surprised but gathered his words briskly and said “ I too had the same feelings for you rakshita and by expressing yourself , you have made my day . No , actually you have made my life “

Rakshita was happy too . She kissed his cheek , whispered “ I love you “ in his ears and departed from the canteen .

Abhay couldn’t believe what just happened .

He suddenly remebered the horoscope’s  second prediction about ‘ pleasure ‘ . It was indeed the biggest ‘ pleasure ‘ that he just  got.

“ we are the champions “ was playing in the background . He felt nice and real to hear the song .

It was 4 PM in the afternoon . Abhay was working in his office when ravi , his senior , arrived in his cabin and said tossing loads of files on his table “ I think you know what you are supposed to do . Right ? “

Abhay “ Yes sir “

Ravi “ you better do work on time “ . He left banging the door of the cabin . Abhay felt as if it was hit hard on his face .

“I’ll show him some day  what I am capable of , I’ll show him this for sure “ . This was his last thought before he dipped into his files .

It was 6PM when all the employees were asked to report in the meeting room .

Abhay , completely exhausted by now , ran towards the water cooler to quench his thirst but he was cut off in mid way by ravi who asked him to burn his ass to the meeting room . Abhay obliged without saying anything .

As he entered the room , he saw the branch manager was sitting with chief of staff next to him .

Abhay searched for an empty seat but stopped when a voice called him from behind  “ Abhay , come here . Sit next to us  “ . He stared back and it was the voice of manager .

“ He knows my name , wow “ . He whispered to himself .

After five minutes , Manager started “ When we told you that we will be keeping our eyes on you , we certainly meant it . We have evaluated the performance of staff on daily basis and we have come to a result that most of you are redundant to our company . Many of you don’t even know how to adapt to a corporate culture . There are so many noted incidences when seniors passed their work to their juniors……….”

Ravi was hiding his face when manager said these words .

“……..we will still give you some time to improve yourself or be ready to leave . But  , In spite of all these Blunders , we have a gem in our office who is sitting next to us right now . Abhay , he has been punctual . persevere , true to his work and he has performed his duty extraordinarily .

Abhay stood up to this with a grin on his face .

Manager put his hand on his back and continued “ …..And we have decided to make him the head of operations as we know he is the most potent and responsible person to serve this position “

Abhay’s eyes got wet for some time but this wetness had a delight hiding beneath it . It was the joy of the impending “power” that was just offered to him .

Manager then announced a grand party for the whole staff as company showed a 21 % profit in their Q4

Results outperforming the speculation of 10 % by the market and abhay was proclaimed as the “Guest of honor” for the evening .

Abhay knew that he has just acquired “power” and “party” in his hand .

Abhay was amused when he again heard the sweet music “ We are the champions “

10 PM at the night , Manager himself dropped abhay home . abhay wished him “ good night “ and moved towards his flat .

While on his way , he saw his blackberry mobile gifted to him by the company . There was message by rashita . He opened the message : “Good night Mr. head , Kiss “

He replied “ good night princess , Love you “

Then he pocketed his mobile and lost in his thoughts of what possibly the “pain” could be .

He started counting the possibilities –

“  One , Accident is not possible as I am almost home “

“  Two , My flat burning…… I don’t care, its on rent “

“ Three, burglary , no problem at all . I have 10  lakh , hottest girl in universe , a new post and a new respect . Life is so good now  “

As he was thinking he suddenly lost his balance fell uncontrollably on the ground . He went blank for some seconds. Everything was dark in front of his eyes but suddenly his body shivered and he got up rapidly .

He was surprised to find himself in his room .and not outside . He checked his mobile .

“whattttttt , It is still 21^st june . But it should be 22^nd june “

He  realized after a thought and so shouted with a roar and a cry simultaneously “ you can’t do this to me ……….. It can’t be just  dream……….I never expected "pain" to be like this...oh god”

Suddenly , the  alarm bell started ringing “ we are the champions “.

Till death do us apart - part II

Five years passed , agastaya got completely lost in his new job . Initially there were some phone calls from his side but later on the frequency reduced to zilch . Nishtha never thought of disturbing him , she had an unfathomable trust in her love that it only grew with time even after she had a biggest turn in her life .

One day agastya , watching a movie, heard a line during a marriage ceremony scene  “ we will live together ,Till death do us apart “ .

He felt a pain as he heard those line , the lines which always bejeweled the lips of her beloved nishtha . He felt a crunch in his heart an decided to leave as soon as possible to meet her back home .

He packed his bag , got his air tickets  and came back to his place . He took shelter in a guest house as he didn’t have any relatives there . His parents shifted to france after two years of his job .

He was tired physically but his heart was still stronger and determined . He went to Nishtha’s home but no one was there .

He waited for some time but no one arrived . But as he was going back , he saw a girl coming towards him . She was wearing a nice white dress ….. She was beautiful ……. She was nishtha .

She came closer to him and without saying anything , she hugged him . He could feel her wet tears falling on his neck .

He apologized for forgetting her but she was not disappointed at him . She was happy that he was finally back in front of her eyes .

They sat at a bench nearby and talked for two hours .

Then agastya said “I am grateful that you waited for me “

Nishtha smiled “ I said I will wait for you till eternity “

Agastya  said enthusiastically “ it was just your belief that we are finally together “ . He waited a bit and said again “ Nishtha will you marry me , I’ll take you from here and we’ll have a nice family“,

Nishtha smiled and said “ Today is the most happiest day of my life that I am seeing you in front of me but my wait can’t end here agastya . I have to still wait for you “

Agastya asked in bewilderment “ But why ??? you have me now “

Nishta said with tears in her eyes “we decided that we will be together till death do us apart but death has overshadowed me agastya . I don’t have a life now . I died in an accident 4 years ago .“

Agastya was astonished but he was not afraid at all“ So how can we unite nishtha . I can do anything to be with you“

Nishtha said with agonizing pain in her voice “ I have to wait again agastya and I will do so . We will meet again agastya , we will meet .”

She said this and disappeared .

All she left with agastya was her tear impressions on his neck .
